Hard Day [Horatio, Ryan]

[Natalia Boa Vista]

Natalia walks into the break room and pours herself a cup of coffee. She sits down at a table and just drops her head in her arms. Today their case involved a 8 year old little girl who had been brutally murdered. It looks like her parents are the murders. She's having a hard time with this case and she doesn't know if she's going to be able to finish it out.
Will Natalia be able to finish this case?

[Lt. Horatio Caine]

Horatio was walking by talking to Frank when he noticed Natalia in the break room, he turned to Frank and excused himself before walking into the break room, "Are you okay Nat?" he asked calmly "A hard day?" Horatio put his sunglasses on the table and sat on the next vacant chair.

[Ryan Wolfe]

Ryan had been in autopsy with Alexx and he was upset at what the little girl had been put through and he hated these cases involving children.

[Natalia Boa Vista]

Nat looks up at Horatio, "I don't know Horatio. I just can't get the sight of that little girl out of my head. You have to be a monster to do that to a child. These kinds of cases take a toll," she tells him.

[Lt. Horatio Caine]

H nods and agrees, "We need to find the person who did it, if we do this then justice will be served...that's what she would want" H said looking at Nat "Yes, you'd have to be a monster to do that to a little girl" he added

[Natalia Boa Vista]

"I know that we have to find him and bring him to justice," Natalia told him. "I've just been trying to get the picture of that little girl out of my head. And her parents, her parents make me sick!!" Natalia said with vehemence.

[Lt. Horatio Caine]

Horatio nodded, "I understand, we're going to need you to think straight on this case, if not I'm sure Mr Wolfe and I can finish of the case, if that's what you'd prefer?" he asked calmly

[Natalia Boa Vista]

"No, I'll do my job, I guess I just needed a break and someone to talk to. Thanks H," she tells him.

[Ryan Wolfe]

Ryan entered the room....

[Natalia Boa Vista]

"Hey, Ryan, any new information from Alexx?" Natalia asks him.

[Ryan Wolfe]

Ryan sighed the placed the file on the table and said " Alexx said that she died from a compressed skull and internal bleeding."

[Lt. Horatio Caine]

Horatio looked at the ground, nodded, picked up his sunglasses, put them on and turned to his colleagues, "We will find this guy, even if it is the last thing I do!" snarled Horatio and with that he left and went to find Walter.

[Ryan Wolfe]

Ryan nodded and said to Natalia " Ever seen H react like that before?"

[Lt. Horatio Caine]

H hated seeing children either dead or in trouble especially after Kyle was kidnapped, he was worried for his own son and even with Kyle in Afghanistan H could stop thinking that something could happen to him. When H found Walter, Walter found a fingerprint on the murder weapon, it came back to a Mala Noche, Horatio glared at the mug shot and his top lip curled, Horatio knew that this was the last straw for the Mala Noche.

[Natalia Boa Vista]

Natalia sighed and rubbed her forehead when Ryan announced the COD; she watched Horatio walk away then turned to Ryan, "No, but then again, he knows that I'm having a hard time with this case, plus the victim is a baby, 6 years old, she never did anything wrong," Natalia told him. Walter called Natalia and Ryan to let the them know that there was Mala Noche involvement.

[Lt. Horatio Caine]

Horatio walked out of the lab after telling Walter to meet him at the docks, he paged Natalia and Ryan to also meet him at the docks because he had to make a pit stop on the way.

[Natalia Boa Vista]

Natalia was just getting ready to leave the break room when she got Horatio's page, so she wen to the docks to meet him. When she got out of the hummer, she walked up to H, "What's up?" she asked.

[Lt. Horatio Caine]

Horatio got out of his Hummer and shook his head, "Everything's okay now" he said and turned to the side to see a warehouse, he took out his weapon and held it out at arms length and headed towards the opening.
